George C. Beighley, a shareholder of Richardson Plowden, defends medical malpractice cases.

Shareholder Drew Hamilton Butler concentrates his practice in the field of construction law and corporate defense litigation where he has successfully tried cases in the United States District Court and Circuit Courts of South Carolina.

Before Barbara Chesley earned her law degree, she was a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist with a master’s degree in nursing. She puts her experience to good use in defending health care providers in medical malpractice actions.  She has a special interest in the area of legal risk management and is a frequent speaker for health care groups.

C. Cliff Rollins is a Richardson Plowden associate in the Columbia office. With prior experience as a construction worker, an Army officer, and a police officer, Mr. Rollins brings a variety of life experiences to the practice of law. He has been a solo practitioner in his home town of Saluda, South Carolina, served as a specialist D.U.I. prosecutor under a federal grant program, and with the S.C. Department of Public Safety as deputy general counsel and interim general counsel. 

These experiences have given him an opportunity to represent clients in a variety of matters, including civil, criminal, and administrative matters. His practice focuses on construction law, crop insurance disputes, and defense of law enforcement in Section 1983 civil rights infringement suits. Mr. Rollins received an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina (USC) and  earned his Juris Doctor from the USC School of Law in 1999.
