Cameron D. Berthelsen joined Richardson Plowden in the Charleston office as an associate attorney in 2021. Mr. Berthelsen focuses his practice in General Litigation and Construction Law.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Berthelsen worked as an associate attorney at another Louisiana law firm where he focused on construction defect law, insurance defense, and personal injury. He served as a law clerk at the Eastern District of Louisiana Public Defender’s Office. Mr. Berthelsen earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane University while simultaneously earning his Master of Business Administration. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in 2011 from Virginia Tech University.
During law school, Mr. Berthelsen received the CALI Award in Mergers & Acquisitions. He was also a Moot Court Intraschool competition finalist. Mr. Berthelsen is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Louisiana Bar.
